Position Description
The Senior Corporate Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle talent acquisition associated with the hiring needs of Modine. You will work with hiring managers at all levels of the organization and act as the subject matter expert for assigned roles. This role will help ensure we are hiring the best possible talent at Modine.
In addition to managing requisitions, this position will help lead and mentor the hourly recruiting team, supporting their development and ensuring alignment with best practices. You will play a key role in updating and enhancing recruiting processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement, and implementing strategies that elevate the candidate experience and strengthen Modine’s employer brand in the market.
At the core, you will create exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative talent acquisition function.
This is a fully onsite role based at Modine's Calgary plant with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
- Mentor/lead the production recruiting team
- Partner with the business to support our growth, including promoting future talent pipeline needs
- Develop influential partnerships with hiring managers
- Enhance the Modine brand as an employer of choice
- Create informed, consultative sourcing strategies in collaboration with HR and Hiring Managers to source quality candidates.
- Identify, attract, engage and secure top talent
- Work towards the best time to fill metrics
- Maintain market expertise of the competitive landscape
- Identify and lead process improvements and efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of a mix of staffing and corporate recruiting experience
- 5+ years of recruiting experience required; production or hourly recruiting experience preferred
- Consultative approach with our organization and HR Directors
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with numerous projects happenings simultaneously
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- General knowledge of multiple employment laws and practices
- Work with multiple departments and foster teamwork
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
