This critical position is responsible for overseeing and supporting our CAT QA department by actively improving quality assurance processes, providing guidance and mentorship to team members, and serving as a vital bridge between our sales team and assessors ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the team.

About Senior Quality Assurance CAT Team Lead
This critical position is responsible for overseeing and supporting our CAT QA department by actively improving quality assurance processes, providing guidance and mentorship to team members, and serving as a vital bridge between our sales team and assessors ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage CAT Pre-screens, liaise with assessors and clients to completion.
- Manage and supervise CAT qa team members including meeting performance goals.
- Train new CAT qa team members including reviewing and providing feedback.
- Manage submission of OCF-18s and OCF-19s.
- Review and evaluate medical assessment reports to ensure continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar and compliance with current regulations.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on medical documentation, including medical histories, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
- Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in medical assessment reports and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
- Collaborate with assessors, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide support to assessors on quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements.
- Ensure reports are sent to the client on time and deadlines are met.
- Ensure timely follow-up and tracking of QA statuses and reports.
- Follow QA protocols for releasing and saving reports.
- Respond to client queries and follow up to ensure they are addressed.
- Offer exceptional customer service when responding to client queries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Industry knowledge/experience with CAT required
- A regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience either as a Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist or Nurse.
- AMA Guides training or C-CAT certification is an asset.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience considered an asset
- 1-2 years work experience in medical clinic, hospital or insurance office.
- Action-oriented, highly organized, results-oriented, independent problem solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment and/or adjudication experience.
- Detailed familiarity with the current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration and associated legal decisions.
- Solid command of the English language and demonstrated excellent communication skills.
- Has working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systems.
- Must be able to assume responsibility for job duties and work independently as well as team-orientated.
