The Sr Specialist - International Digital Content manages integration of international marketing branded consumer facing digital assets such as Wendy’s.com and mobile application, among others with respect to assigned international markets. The role is primarily responsible for the relationship management between marketing and technology leads, external agencies, and other critical cross-functional partners to ensure digital creative and consumer journey aligns consistently with brand initiatives to be impactful and effective across countries. With a focus on analysis and continuous improvement recommendations, this role leads the execution of International digital strategy with an initial focus on Canada and the UK. This role is essential to reading performance metrics as it relates to the consumer-facing content changes to maximize partnerships and results between the business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project management and delivery of international branded digital assets in partnership with brand marketing, external agencies and other partners to ensure a consistent consumer journey and experience across channels. Produces recommendations based on analysis and relationship management of the above mentioned partners to deliver content in parallel with marketing calendar needs meanwhile managing the budget.
  • Acquire and analyse market data across multiple countries in partnerships with key agencies (eg Braze and Punchh). Navigate improvement areas and content opportunities in order to develop targeted and personalized consumer experiences across owned digital platforms such as our mobile app and .com. This includes working very closely with the product owners with US and Canada, marketing leads, technology stakeholders and developers.
  • Own and develop process for managing digital creative content to ensure it is supporting brand initiatives in respect with country calendars and maintained accurately and efficiently.
  • Day-to-day support of broader cross-functional teams such as nutrition, legal, operations, human resources to ensure digital content is accurate and well maintained.


What we expect from you

  • Bachelors Degree is required; Communications, IT, or Marketing with either a masters, certificate program is preferred.
  • Strong background in technology and working with a development team, digital marketing, mobile, troubleshooting, digital asset development with experience as a business lead for a digital platform preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relative work experience in strategic development of program/creative management for a digitally-focused company or agency, including experience with evaluating and approving digital content.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, including documenting processes and assessing or selecting systems.
  • Nice to have experience with loyalty programs.


Expected Work Location (In Office): It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Canadian Restaurant Support Center 5515 North Service Rd STE 201Burlington ON L7L 6G4 Canada or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 10% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.

Pay Range: CAD 83,000 - CAD 141,000 Annually
