On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Life Insurance for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Business Analyst - Life Insurance - Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will support a large-scale transformation project in the Life Insurance sector. This role involves working closely with project and workstream leads, as well as business and technology partners, to document business requirements and design process flows for the initial phase of the project.


Business Analyst - Life Insurance - Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project and workstream leads to gather and document business requirements.
• Design and document process flows, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
• Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate communication between technical and business teams.
• Support system implementation activities, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Utilize business analysis and data analysis tools to drive decision-making.
• Participate in both traditional and agile project methodologies to deliver on project objectives.
  
  
  

Business Analyst - Life Insurance - Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in Life Insurance.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong experience with data analysis tools, including Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems, particularly SalesForce.
• Strong leadership, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
