The Cook 2 position is responsible for preparing food in the WinSport's Hockey House and Garden Café. You will be reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs and be expected to prepare and cook high-quality food to the WinSport standard.

Must be available at least 4 nights per week; Fridays-Sundays are required.

4-5 shifts per week, with shift most shift times being 430pm-1am.

What You Will Be Doing

• Daily food preparation
• Work within multiple kitchens including WinSport’s Garden Café and WinSport Hockey House
• Prepare and cook for various menu styles including quick service, plated buffet, catering deliveries, to-go, and high volume specialist events
• Ensure that all culinary workspaces are kept clean and well maintained
• Provide exceptional service, encourage repeat business and loyalty while supporting the WinSport Brand
  
  

What You Bring

• Cook 2: Required 2-3 years’ experience (and/or 2nd-year Apprentice)
• Able to work independently
• Technical training in a recognized culinary course is an asset
• Alberta Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract preferred. The willingness to learn to operate WinSport vans/trucks is an asset, but not required
  
  

You Will Be

• Walking and standing up for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift or carry up to 25lbs frequently.
• Must have full mobility and be able to work in a physical environment.
• Work schedule will include evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.
