The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Information Systems Summer Student to join our Information Technology team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Information Systems, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, a passion for learning, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The work term will commence May 2026 and will last 4 months.

Responsibilities

  • Confer with Senior Power Platform Developers to help develop and implement business solutions and contribute to developing detailed documentation
  • Assist in building and implementing solutions to improve business process solutions within SharePoint and Power Platform
  • Work as a supporting member of a team to develop high quality software
  • Become proficient in Azure Cloud Services
  • Gain knowledge in the automation of the software development process

What You Will Bring To Arc

  • The position is ideally suited for students entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and are returning to school the following term
  • Experience developing software and applications at school or in a business environment and following established protocols and processes
  • Comprehension of the development lifecycle and project management principles
  • Knowledge of PowerShell to automate SharePoint administration tasks
  • Familiarity with Power Platform, Power Apps and Power Automate is an asset
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-orientated work environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience developing Copilot agents using Copilot Studio or Azure AI Services is an asset
