About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Moodle Developer for a short-term mandate to support a specific project initiative. The role involves customizing and configuring Moodle to meet specific functional and design requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and configure Moodle platform based on project specifications
- Develop or modify plugins, themes, and modules as needed
- Integrate third-party tools or APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ensure the platform is secure, user-friendly, and performant
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed
- Proven experience with Moodle development (custom plugins, themes, configuration)
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with LMS best practices and e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working in remote or freelance settings
- Experience with Moodle integrations (e.g., Zoom, H5P, third-party SSO)
- UI/UX sensitivity for improving user experience
- Bilingual (English/French)
