About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Moodle Developer for a short-term mandate to support a specific project initiative. The role involves customizing and configuring Moodle to meet specific functional and design requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure Moodle platform based on project specifications
• Develop or modify plugins, themes, and modules as needed
• Integrate third-party tools or APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Ensure the platform is secure, user-friendly, and performant
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer as needed
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Moodle development (custom plugins, themes, configuration)
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Familiarity with LMS best practices and e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience working in remote or freelance settings
  
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Moodle integrations (e.g., Zoom, H5P, third-party SSO)
• UI/UX sensitivity for improving user experience
• Bilingual (English/French)
