The Automation Division is responsible for providing engineered solutions, integrated systems, automation programming and technical support to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing sales efforts specifically focused upon fume extraction, flexible and hard automation products and services.
Automation is further responsible for the provision of technical support to direct end-user customers for service / maintenance contracts and warrantee related solutions, as well as, troubleshooting and problem solving with respect to customer issues.
The Automation Team is expected to deliver results while contributing to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing business activities and priorities, as well as, meeting internal and external customer requirements in a timely, discreet and ethical manner

Responsibilitie

Lead meetings for assigned projects such as pre-submittal meetings and pre-construction meeti - ngsConduct operations meetings, review schedules, back-orders and break-do
- wnsProvide management oversight for all phases of the manufacturing project, including production, design, fabrication, installation and make sure work is proceeding on schedule and within bud
- getWork with Sales and Production to identify client needs, developing action plans and identifying deliverab
- lesHandle Customer enquiries and complaints with Sales and Serv
- iceResponsible to ensure all assigned projects are managed to meet or exceed customers’ requireme
- ntsMust liaise with US counterparts as required and to leverage the global knowledge and direction in regards to the operations of the automation divis

Experience and Education Requireme
- nts:
Strong aptitude of Welding, automation & positioning equipment experience and/or knowl - edge.3 or more year’s previous Engineering experience in a manufacturing or job shop environment with proven leadership abili
- ties.Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obsta
- cles.A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organiza
- tion.Experience successfully implementing Lean/Six Sigma tools which created impactful business improvem
- ents.Have good knowledge of manufacturing processes to provide input and improve design pract
- ices.Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accu
- racy.High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountabi
- lity.Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution sk
