Miru, an exciting and fast-growing start-up in the clean tech industry, is looking for a talented Corporate Operations Specialist to join our passionate team. This position is integral in supporting a broad range of operational and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, and a proactive, curious approach to their work. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Support day to day office operations, including maintaining supplies and vendor coordination.
  • Welcome visitors and direct inquiries; answer and route phone calls.
  • Coordinate mail, courier services, and shipments (including TDG procedures).
  • Assist with office maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and managing security access.
  • Provide logistical support with office moves, desk assignments, and seating plans.
  • Assist with new hire administrative onboarding.
  • Maintain records, filing systems, and document version control.
  • Draft and circulate internal communications and announcements as needed.
  • Support planning and setup of company events.
  • Assist in updating policies, procedures, and compliance logs as required.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration or a related field.
  • 1+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Willingness to complete WHMIS and TDG certification courses.
  • Ability to work full time on-site at our Mount Pleasant facility.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in a fast paced, high technology environment with a background in basic safety principles
  • Willing to complete Intermediate First Aid Course
