About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Assistant Manager or designate, the Automation/Instrumentation and Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical control and monitoring systems that support hospital operations, patient care, security, and life safety. This includes building automation, medical gas control panels, nurse call, pneumatic tube transport, surveillance and access control, public address (PA) systems, water generation/purification systems and compressed/instrument air. The I&C Technician plays a vital role in ensuring these systems operate reliably, safely, and in compliance with health care regulations. Other duties may be assigned as needed and travel and/or support for other sites may be required.

About You

  • Journeyperson Instrumentation and Control Technician OR Electro Mechanical Technician Diploma with Electrician Journeyperson Certification.
  • Travel between sites required
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Strong safety track record and mindset is a must
  • Knowledge of labor and safety codes

Hours

  • Permanent, Full-Time / 100% / 75 Hours Bi-Weekly

Compensation And Benefits

$27.44 - $32.65 Hourly
