Job Purpose
The Costing Assistant helps plan and execute efficient Production flow for the company’s data and information.
Duties And Responsibilities
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
- Daily, review, validate and maintain accuracy of manufacturing Report
- Prepare and send required Weekly Analytics data to the team and Directors
- Supports collection of data in production for CI preparation of daily analytics
- Attend weekly ERP meeting
- Validate BOM’s consumption, ERP vs. Actual
- Monthly Cases/Hr. RDJ Spec. and Default Lines are up to date
- Assist in Inventory Cycle counts, ERP (Silo Oil and Flour)
- Develop Reports
- Validate Dough rest time with Batch time report
- Review Planned Downtimes versus the schedule.
- Report Service fulfillment on a weekly basis to the Team
- Complete Overtime Report graphs on a monthly basis
- Complete OEE calculations on a monthly and yearly basis.
- Compile Weekly Inventory Adjustments for Analysis
- Proactive (3PL) Report aged pallets and Cost
- Weekly (3PL) Report confirming charges
- Updating Costs for Ingredients and Packaging under vendors
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience working in a bakery environment preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong focus/attention to details.
- Sound administrative and record keeping skills
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Works well in an office while being exceptional at integrating with a cross functional team via email/phone etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, email communications, and presentations effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Always work indoors.
- Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Sitting involved.
- May repeat the same movement.
- Typing involved.
