- Ensure safe custody, control, and transport of individuals at CBSA sites, hospitals, hearings, and airports.
- Monitor facilities and perimeters, applying CBSA policies, emergency procedures, and security technologies (search methods, x-ray, metal detectors, use of force when required).
- Admit and process individuals/visitors, including intake of personal effects, removal of prohibited items, and record management.
- Escort and transport detained/non-detained individuals, book/check-in flights, and complete COD documentation.
- Maintain accurate reports, records, communications, and inventories; handle mail and calls.
- Engage with individuals to monitor behavior, applying de-escalation and intervention techniques as needed.
- Valid Manitoba Security Guard License and First Aid Level 1 (OFA1)
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and legal entitlement to work in Canada
- Minimum 1 year of security experience; Advanced Security Training (AST) an asset
- Must meet clearance requirements: Public Works, Vulnerable Sector Check, and 5+ years Canadian residency with PR or Citizenship
- Strong communication, customer service, and decision-making skills under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office/Outlook and other technology tools
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- N95 fit test required
