Role Overview
The Senior Strategic Account Manager will lead the Commercial & Execution strategy to grow Kerry’s Taste & Nutrition business. This role manages a diverse portfolio including flavor technologies and various ingredient types across multiple market segments and channels.
You’ll act as an entrepreneur—treating your accounts like your own business—while leveraging creativity, value proposition selling, and customer management skills to expand existing platforms and identify new opportunities.

Role Overview
The Senior Strategic Account Manager will lead the Commercial & Execution strategy to grow Kerry’s Taste & Nutrition business. This role manages a diverse portfolio including flavor technologies and various ingredient types across multiple market segments and channels.
You’ll act as an entrepreneur—treating your accounts like your own business—while leveraging creativity, value proposition selling, and customer management skills to expand existing platforms and identify new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and close new business through standard, custom, and integrated solution selling.
- Defend and grow existing business.
- Manage a large portfolio of projects across Kerry functions using Salesforce.
- Provide innovative, customer-focused ideas by understanding customer brands, platforms, and strategies.
- Build strategic relationships with customer teams (R&D, Marketing, Sourcing) and Kerry counterparts.
- Participate in business planning and long-term growth strategies.
- Design customized, value-added product solutions.
- Manage complex pricing models aligned with customer expectations.
- Confidently speak to manufacturing, supply chain, and food science processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Business.
- 5–7 years of sales experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong working knowledge of food science, product development, and commercialization.
- Proven track record in customer growth and business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of sales concepts, trade spend, and pricing models.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to Kerry and customer facilities.
