Greenfield is looking for a Sr. Manager of Finance, Operations to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Sr. Manager of Finance, Operations, will play a crucial role in providing insightful analysis, strategic guidance, and financial forecasts to management. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of budgets/forecasts, analyzing data, preparing reports, developing financial models, and collaborating with various departments to drive business performance, facilitate informed decision-making, and improve profitability.
The role will be supporting Procurement and Distillery & Manufacturing Operations (DMO) in decision-making processes and plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial planning and analysis process in this business unit. This involves:
- Collaborating – Working closely with the business and plant finance to understand problems/opportunities to improve performance.
- Problem Solving – Ability to analyze complex financial data and draw insights to solve financial problems.
- Financial Modeling – ability to create detailed financial models and scenario analysis, coupled with business case support for capital allocations and analysis of performance against targets.
- Story Telling – Communicating information to business partners and management.
- Ad-hoc analysis, as required.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Vena Solution, Power BI or another financial database knowledge is an asset.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a requirement of 3 days in-office per week.
Your Experience Should Include:
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with 2+ years of managing a team.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Manufacturing and/or Supply Chain Finance experience considered an asset.
Bonus Points if you Have Any of These:
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning:
- Lead the annual budgeting process for Procurement and DMO, working closely with department heads to develop detailed budgets aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop rolling forecasts to provide insights into future financial performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Financial Analysis:
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers of performance.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support decision-making by senior management.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide support in achieving their objectives.
- Develop relationships with various stakeholders and partner with them to prepare budgets, forecasts and manage and track their performance against set goals.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and cost saving initiatives with financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and drive accountability.
- Responsible for Greenfield’s business intelligence tools to set up various reports and dashboards. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to enhance decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
