Access Wellbeing Services (AWS) is a social enterprise division of Centrecare Incorporated, delivering mental health and wellbeing services to organisations across Western Australia. Role Overview

This part-time (three days per week) role is key to shaping and delivering clinical training for AWS staff. Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, you will lead the development and facilitation of evidence-based training aligned with AWS’s practice frameworks. Using your clinical expertise, you’ll deliver modules on topics such as trauma-informed practice, suicide risk assessment, and CBT, while managing the internal training calendar and collaborating with HR, marketing, and subject experts to ensure smooth delivery throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based clinical training modules to staff and partner agencies, both in-person and online.
  • Design, develop, and maintain innovative training materials and digital learning solutions.
  • Provide on-call counselling and clinical support to EAP clients as required.
  • Facilitate AWS’s Clinical Induction Day for new staff.
  • Take ownership of the internal clinical training calendar and coordinate logistics with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, HR, and marketing to promote and deliver training.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices and adult learning principles.
  • Provide clinical training to external agencies if required.

Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Training, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering clinical services (e.g., case work, counselling).
  • Professional accreditation with a recognised body such as ACA, PACFA, AASW, or AHPRA.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and facilitating clinical training programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with digital platforms and tools for training delivery.
  • Valid Western Australia Working with Children Check.
  • Valid Western Australia driver’s licence.
  • Valid National Police Clearance
