We are looking for a full-time Embroidery Operator at our Cambridge, Ontario Distribution Center.

Position Responsibilities

  • Operate an industrial embroidery machine to embroider designs on various materials such as hats, shirts, bags, and more.
  • Know how to thread machine, change needles, and adjust machine settings to optimize embroidery quality and speed.
  • Load and unload materials onto the embroidery machines.
  • Ensure machines are properly threaded and functioning properly.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and speed.
  • Good hand and eye co-ordination, manual dexterity, and high attention to detail.
  • Use and understand basic measurements
  • Understand and follow security protocols, and apply safety standards, policies, and procedures, as well as operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and organize and maintain inventory of embroidery supplies.
  • As well as perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Experience with customizing uniforms is an asset.
  • Knowledge of basic computers is a must.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner.
  • Dedicated to completing the task with a high degree of quality and efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read and understand digital designs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Candidates must have normal colour perception to accurately perform the duties required for this position.
