We’re seeking an E-COMMERCE & MERCHANDISING SPECIALIST to join our team in Port Alberni.
How You’ll Contribute
- Manage and maintain product catalogue content across Amazon, eBay, and Shopify.
- Set up Shopify SKUs, coordinate seasonal changes, and oversee new product launches.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to identify product opportunities and creative directions.
- Source and coordinate designers, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Oversee product sampling, approvals, and production timelines.
- Track inventory, forecast demand, and coordinate restocks or new orders.
- Support merchandising initiatives, product bundles, and online promotions.
- Monitor store performance, analyze sales trends, and share actionable insights.
- Ensure accurate pricing, product details, and a seamless customer shopping experience.
- Adapt to evolving priorities and support special projects as needed.
- 2+ years direct eCommerce experience (Amazon and Shopify preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in eCommerce, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing vendors, suppliers, or creative teams, with familiarity in contract negotiation and vendor agreements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills; experience with tools such as Asana, JIRA, or Trello is an asset.
- Understanding of product sampling and manufacturing workflows.
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable team player.
- Interest in aviation, firefighting, or outdoor/lifestyle industries.
- Knowledge of SEO, marketing tools, or online retail growth strategies.
- $60,000 to $70,000 a year, depending on experience.
- Company-paid benefits.
