The Sr. Administrator for Support & Operations plays a crucial role in delivering advanced technical support and troubleshooting expertise for SAP BASIS and SAP HANA environments. This position is essential in ensuring seamless operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement through effective root cause analysis and resolution of complex incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Function as the primary contact for the customer regarding technology discussions related to RISE Migration(for Migration Expert) and Upgrade(For Upgrade Expert)
- Recognizing as the escalation point for technical issues for the ECS customer landscape during Onboarding & Upgrade phases
- Providing services require detailed understanding of customer landscape and its interfaces
- Understanding the customer business, goals and challenges in order to suggest solutions/innovation
- Advising customers on technical requirements, constraining and supporting in all sorts of technical situations (incl. IT critical situations) throughout their lifecycle within ECS during Onboarding and Upgrade phases
- Acting as primary technical point of contact for Project lead & Client Delivery Manager (CDM)
- Providing services onsite at customer location for specific situations i.e., strategic customer's Migration kick off and Upgrade workshops
- Supporting customer's Intelligent Enterprise transformation by acting as technical consultant (Ex:S4HANA conversion)
- Ensuring customer satisfaction on technical delivery and support
- Supporting with incident & service request management as needed during Migration & upgrade phases
- Coordinating impact and risk assessment for change management of planned activities
- Leading Migration & upgrade related meetings with the customer
- Providing Customer specific guidance derived out of RCA providing an in-depth review of the generated reports and action items follow up.
- Planning and executing Capacity Management, Landscape Optimization and other value adding services
- Providing pro-active services for critical activities
- Identifying and positioning offerings by SAP Enterprise Cloud Services that deliver value to the customer
- Supporting customer's Intelligent Enterprise transformation by providing technical consultant services
- Offering comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools
- Provisioning the services require experience in technical planning, implementation, coordination, configuration, and integration of SAP solutions as well as experience and knowledge in SAP New Weaver Administration, Migration and upgrade
- Understanding the SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine)
- Understanding of various SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with SCP, Ariba, SuccessFactors etc. (good to have)
- Designing optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability
- Must have 8+ years of experience in SAP Basis with cloud knowledge
- Must have hands on experience with SAP Upgrade
- Architecting and defining complex and technical SAP solutions across multiple industry sectors, understanding of the technology enablement as well as integration with other applications.
- Experience of numerous SAP enabled business transformation programme lifecycles of which at least 3 of were gained in a solution architect or senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP solution suite and technical architecture and ability to translate business challenges
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills demonstrable presentation and client facing consulting and influencing skills up until C suite levels. All candidates must be assertive and articulate with the ability to develop and sustain senior client relationships.
- Understanding of SAP s product strategy, including positioning of S/4 HANA and enabling tools and complementary technology
