We are seeking a Mobile App Developer to join our Engineering team and lead the development of a mobile platform that powers our AI and digital health products. You’ll be building secure, HIPAA-compliant communication tools that redefine how dentists and labs connect, collaborate, and grow.
What You’ll Do
Mobile App Development & Optimization
• Design and build advanced applications for iOS and Android using cross-platform tools (Flutter or React Native).
• Build and scale real-time messaging features (chat, case collaboration, file/image/3D data sharing).
• Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and usability in clinical environments.
Security, Compliance & Data Integrity
• Implement HIPAA-compliant security standards, including data encryption (in transit and at rest), access controls, secure authentication, and audit logging.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure features meet healthcare data regulations (HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR).
• Maintain end-to-end security for all messaging, file sharing, and case workflows.
Backend & Integration Collaboration
• Work closely with backend engineers to design and consume secure APIs.
• Handle database-driven features (SQL and NoSQL experience required).
• Integrate with healthcare workflows, imaging systems, and potentially 3D data formats (e.g., Blender, STL files).
Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor and resolve app issues, bugs, and crashes using real-time feedback and logs.
• Continuously discover and adopt new technologies to improve efficiency and product reliability.
• Partner with QA to automate testing and deliver high-quality releases.
User Experience & Design Integration
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive, visually appealing mobile interfaces.
• Incorporate user feedback to improve adoption, engagement, and usability.
What We Look For
• Experience: 3+ years of mobile development, with at least one published messaging app (real-time chat, collaboration, or secure communication).
• Skills: Proficiency in Flutter or React Native; strong knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems.
• Tech Stack: REST/GraphQL APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Data & Backend: Experience with SQL + NoSQL databases; API integrations; familiarity with secure file handling.
• Security/Compliance: Experience implementing HIPAA/PIPEDA/GDPR-compliant features (or other regulated industries).
• Nice to Have: Experience handling 3D data (e.g., Blender, dental imaging formats); prior work in digital health or dental technology; knowledge of FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare standards.
• Mindset: Problem-solver with strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
• Collaboration: Effective communicator and team player who thrives in agile environments.
What’s in It for You
• Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
