Pinterest is looking for a Performance Solution Partner II. This role is responsible for enabling advertisers and sellers to drive success on the Pinterest platform, through the adoption of priority products and the development of new / innovative best practices. The Performance Solution Partner II will closely partner with cross-functional leadership in sales, product, and engineering. This is a multi-faceted, fast-paced job in a start-up environment so flexibility, a data-driven mindset, a strong work ethic, and a good sense of humor are a must. The right candidate will be a strategic thought leader who is driven by learning and solving ambiguous problems.
The Performance Solutions team sits within the Global Client Solutions (GCS) organization. Performance Solutions delivers through strategic guidance, operational excellence and technical expertise to improve the effectiveness of advertising campaigns resulting in increased client ROI. We work to understand, innovate, and scale cross-functional workflows. We are responsible for measuring process impact, making our business more efficient with consistent execution while embarking on building the next generation of data-driven best practices.

What You’ll Do
- Be the primary day-to-day technical contact for sales to help activate lower funnel campaigns (ex. eCommerce, performance focused). Provide prompt, professional consultative support and service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure activation and adoption of various lower funnel ad products and advocate new product features and assist clients in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to help them build long-term success.
- Enable and mobilize sellers to pitch new performance products and campaign best practices at scale.
- Provide strategic thought leadership to top tier clients within your region.
- Use data to propose and encourage new campaign structures for the sales team and/or clients to utilize Pinterest as a performance platform.
- Identify key issues facing our clients and advertisers, and develop proposed solutions on how Pinterest should solve them through systems, processes and / or people.
- Work with your region to adapt best practices to fit the market you are supporting, and relay that feedback to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide documentation and technical guidance to ensure the technical success of clients’ integrations.
- Collaborate with internal and external technical and developer teams to drive communication, prioritization, analysis, and resolution of customer challenges and issues.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of both client facing and hands-on experience in digital advertising with responsibilities in ad tech, ad ops, and/or campaign management
- Experience with tagging and tracking QA and support, and working with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
- Ability to work with eCommerce data feeds.
- Experience in interpreting SQL queries for data analysis
- Expertise in digital advertising and media sales including campaign optimization, analytical problem solving, sales facing experience, and product/platform knowledge
- A structured and detail-oriented thinker. You’re as comfortable solving conceptual problems and creating frameworks to refine a team’s thinking as you are getting into the weeds to understand how things work.
- Strong communication skills. You can move seamlessly between conversing with engineers or frontline sales employees and lead presentations with senior leads.
- Knowledge of online advertising, web analytics, and e-commerce.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with internal and external stakeholders.

- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from the Toronto office (85 Richmond St. W).
