Currently, pre-revenue with validated technical infrastructure, NEO is seeking a high-output founding CEO to lead customer acquisition, validate the monetizable pain, and build traction fast.
About the Role
As the Business Lead at NEO, you’ll be the commercial co-founder responsible for turning product capability into paid growth, fast.
You'll work side-by-side with NEO’s founding technical lead (the creator of the core AI engine) to validate demand, close high-value deals, and drive traction in a space that’s ripe for disruption. Your focus? Revenue, retention, and relentless execution. No fundraising required, this is about generating cash, not pitch decks.

What You'll Do
Go-to-Market & Sales
- Lead customer discovery to uncover urgent, high-spend video workflow pain points
- Drive outbound strategy, run demos, and convert early pilots into paying clients Craft high-converting messaging for creators, agencies, and growth teams
- Own early revenue, close the first $10K+ MRR and build a path to scale
- Turn sharp feedback into tighter offers, faster iterations, and stronger retention
- Build GTM experiments and landing pages that convert
- Track core metrics daily: retention, CAC, churn, LTV, revenue
- Work closely with the technical founder to prioritize roadmap decisions based on revenue opportunity
- Lead with urgency, iterate quickly, and drive relentless commercial progress
- Serve as the external face of NEO: early narrative, demo calls, and strategic deals
- Create and maintain key relationships with early adopters, partners, and advisors
- Elevate the NEO brand with positioning that resonates in the creator economy and B2B video space
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years in B2B SaaS, creator tools, or go-to-market roles
- Proven success in outbound sales, cold outreach, and deal conversion
- Strong copywriting and positioning skills, your words move people
- Comfortable operating with speed, ambiguity, and direct responsibility for revenue
- Data-fluent: you use dashboards, KPIs, and retention metrics to guide decisions
- Natural communicator with executive presence and founder energy
- Prior startup, founder, or early GTM leadership experience
- Experience working with creators, video teams, or performance marketers
- Familiarity with modern sales tools, landing page builders, and CRM platforms
- Deep interest in AI, automation, and the future of creative work
- Are obsessed with traction, outcomes, and learning what makes customers buy
- Want to build something fast, with clear product-market signal
- Thrive in zero-to-one chaos and are allergic to corporate pace
- Know how to write, pitch, sell, and close
- Want co-founder-level ownership without fundraising headaches
