  • Lead earned value management (EVM) reporting, analyzing cost and schedule variances to provide data-driven insights;
  • Support risk and change management, identifying potential impacts and ensuring change orders are documented and integrated;
  • Align project schedules with procurement, contractor, and supplier commitments;
  • Generate dashboards, reports, and executive summaries to communicate progress and performance to senior leadership;
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance across all phases of the project lifecycle; and
  • Mentor and guide junior staff in scheduling and project controls best practices.

Your Capabilities and Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field;
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in project controls, scheduling, or project management, ideally in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or consulting;
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 with demonstrated experience on large, complex projects (multi-million or billion-dollar scale);
  • Solid understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM), cost forecasting, and risk analysis;
  • Strong understanding with scope and change management, procurement processes, and contract administration;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring accuracy while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team culture; and
  • Proficiency with additional project management and financial tools (e.g., MS Project, Oracle Primavera suite, SAP, EcoSys, Deltek, Procore, Aconex).

Additional skills and experience that will make you stand out:

  • Master's or PhD;
  • PMP, PSP, or equivalent certification highly regarded;
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or CET designation; and
