What We Expect

Role Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate maintenance repair and installation work with fellow mechanics
• Provide assistance to Sales department
• Comply with safety procedures as set out by company policy and Provincial Health and Safety Act
• Participate in weekly job box meetings
• Work in coordination with property managers, designated managers, general contractors, and owners to meet or exceed contractual obligations
• Participate in the training of field personnel as required.
• Assure the application of optimum workmanship and the development and maintaining of good working relationships between colleagues and customers
• Maintain current knowledge of all aspects of elevator technology
• Provide exceptional customer service and communication
• Take ownership of work-related issues
• Participate in the on-call rotation
  
  

Who we are looking for

Role Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required coupled by a minimum of five years’ experience in the elevator industry
• Must be in possession of a valid Mechanic’s License
• Strong mechanical and electrical reasoning and comprehension skills
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• A desire to learn, maintain and expand knowledge of all aspects of elevator technology
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Requires ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
• Requires demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of employees and customers, internal and external
• TAC 32 experience an asset
