About The Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in administering, configuring, and supporting the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and optimization of the ServiceNow environment while supporting business needs through enhancements, automation, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform across multiple modules (ITSM, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, Service Catalog, etc.).
  • Manage user accounts, roles, groups, and access controls (ACLs).
  • Perform routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and patching to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and notifications.
  • Support integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot system/application issues.
  • Maintain CMDB accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and process owners to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with ServiceNow governance, security, and best practices.
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile/ITIL-based environments.
  • Exposure to other ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, ITOM, or CSM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM modules and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
  • Experience with ServiceNow administration tasks: user/group/role management, ACLs, workflows, forms, and service catalog configuration.
  • Familiarity with CMDB management and discovery processes.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (client/server-side).
  • Experience with system integrations (e.g., REST, SOAP).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
