Working in the GovTech sector for our new brand SOVRA, we are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team.

We are searching for a motivated and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our fantastic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging new leads, cultivating client relationships, and driving internal sales efforts. This position plays a crucial role in meeting our sales targets and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
What will your primary responsibilities look like?
- Lead Qualification: Engage with newly registered and existing customers using inbound and outbound sales techniques (e.g., calling, email outreach, social media engagement, chatbot, etc.).
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of company products/services and how they meet the customer’s needs.
- Sales Presentations & Demos: Present product offerings to prospects and clients, provide product demonstrations, and answer any questions to close sales.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage and nurture existing accounts, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients.
- Sales Tracking & Reporting: Track all sales activities, follow-up processes, and customer interactions using CRM tools. Regularly update managers on sales progress and forecasting.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and consistently meet sales quotas and targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and outside sales teams to align on customer targeting strategies, lead generation, and account management.
- Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure satisfaction and long-term client retention.
What elements of your professional background will be needed and helpful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B or B2C sales.
- Knowledge of the public sector and/or procurement
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience in coaching and developing a sales team is a plus.
- Required: Authorized to work in Canada – unfortunately, we cannot sponsor work visas or transfers at this time.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven experience in sales or a related field, preferably in inside sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Working Conditions:
