Trolley is growing quickly and we are hiring for a full-time Director of Partnerships to join our team.

It is the go-to payouts solution for hundreds of businesses like Canva, Soundcloud, and Envato, ensuring creators, artists, and suppliers get paid efficiently. Trolley has processed millions of payments, supporting musicians, artists, makers, vendors, and suppliers worldwide.
The role:
Trolley is looking for a Director of Partnerships to own and scale our partner motion across both vertical and horizontal channels. This is a strategic role responsible for building a repeatable partner model that drives new revenue and expands our presence within the ecosystems we serve. This role will include all aspects of our partner program from referral partners through to integrated technology partnerships.
You’ll focus on developing two different overarching types partnerships:
- Referral Partners - partners that send business to Trolley
- Reseller Partners - partners that resell Trolley to their customers
This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to create and execute high-impact partner strategies.
In your role you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy across vertical and horizontal opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of reseller and referral partners that contribute to net-new revenue.
- Identify and prioritize key vertical opportunities (e.g., creator platforms, talent marketplaces, music distributors) and lead the partner acquisition process end-to-end.
- Create partner programs, playbooks, and frameworks to support scalable onboarding, enablement, and joint selling.
- Lead horizontal motions with tax advisors, accounting firms, and fintech platforms to unlock multi-vertical distribution and influence.
- Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that balance scalability with flexibility.
- Track and report on partner performance metrics, including sourced pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing to align on integration opportunities, co-marketing initiatives, and partner feedback loops.
- Represent Trolley at industry events and partner summits to build visibility and strengthen relationships.
- 6–10 years experience in partnerships, business development, or go-to-market roles at a B2B SaaS or fintech company.
- Proven experience building and scaling partner programs with vertical platforms and ecosystem players.
- Ability to manage both strategic thinking and execution: from pipeline building and deal negotiation to enablement and performance tracking.
- Experience working with platform APIs or embedded fintech products is a strong advantage.
- Commercial fluency—able to speak the language of product, sales, and legal to close meaningful deals.
- A network in payments, creator tools, fintech, or tax/advisory is a plus.
