Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the store to optimize customer service and sales targets
- Manage the efforts of one other retail professional and provide guidance for the escalation of any customer service issues
- Ensure that the store is merchandised well with complete inventory control
- Undertake the location's regular banking
- Represent the organization periodically at trade shows and customer events
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of three years of retail experience, with preference given to those who have held a managerial role
- Experience managing sales targets with proven success
- Experience delivering superior customer service in a retail environment with regular, repeat customers
- Superior interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Basic bookkeeping in a retail location would be considered an asset
- Proficiency using MS Office would be considered an asset
