About The Role
With a focus on the commercial aviation industry, the Sales Representative sells our repair services, mostly aircraft component structural repair, but also our engineering services and our spares and exchange program to commercial customers.
He drives the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers or partners, and expanding the commercial market presence. This position requires passion, resourcefulness, attention to detail and the ability to work with little supervision.

About The Role
With a focus on the commercial aviation industry, the Sales Representative sells our repair services, mostly aircraft component structural repair, but also our engineering services and our spares and exchange program to commercial customers.
He drives the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential customers or partners, and expanding the commercial market presence. This position requires passion, resourcefulness, attention to detail and the ability to work with little supervision.
Objectives
- Growing the commercial MRO business
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Elevate corporate branding by creating a strong Customer Value Proposition.
Commercial Market:
- Generate and follow-up on leads obtained through personal contacts, provided lead lists, and interaction at trade shows.
- Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
- Make recommendations to management as a result of market analysis and sales results.
- Maintain competitive edge by actively monitoring competitor initiatives and activities, and by gather information on products, merchandising tactics, delivery schedules and pricing.
- Lead or assist proposal development, and RFQs.
- Update and maintain CRM.
- Manage marketing strategy.
- Follow-up with related departments to ensure client satisfaction.
- Track and maintain sales and performance statistics.
- Present regular reports to keep management up to date on results of all sales and lead-generation activities.
- Must have some relevant experience in the aerospace industry.
- Minimum of five (5) years in BD/sales role, in Aerospace (MRO).
- Very comfortable with cold-calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships, excellent with customer facing.
- Excellent negotiation skills, and ability to close deals.
- Enjoys helping people and is very customer oriented.
- Self-motivated and dynamic.
- Willingness to travel.
- Bilingual (French and English*)
- The position requires a very good knowledge of English, both oral and written. The position involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, especially from international companies, as well as regular communication with customers, suppliers and other international stakeholders.
