Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze the material needs of various commodities;
  • Address supplier quality problems and carry out the necessary corrective actions;
  • Purchasing and doing increased follow-up with suppliers for materials and services;
  • Negotiate delivery times and raw material prices;
  • Ensure the availability for all special mandates concerning various fields of activity;
  • Work closely with the Production, Planning, and Design teams;
  • All other related tasks.

Education + Experience Required

  • One to three years of purchasing experience;
  • And/Or
  • Post-secondary training in administration or another related field;
  • Purchasing experience in the manufacturing sector;
  • Certificate in Supply Chain Management (asset).

Qualifications + Skills Required

  • Be dynamic, autonomous and tenacious;
  • French and English spoken and written: bilingualism required;
  • Ability to adapt to a growing business;
  • Sense of organization and urgency;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite.
