Shop Fabricator - (Afternoon Shift)

Job Summary

The Shop Fabricator is a unionized position under the United Association Local 853. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Removing finished product from the production line
• Reading and following dimension sheets
• Operating die threading machines
• Stack and bundle pipe using overhead crane
• Quality control of finished products
• Other shop duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Experience operating an overhead crane
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Certified welder would be an asset
• Previous fabrication/manufacturing experience an asset
• Must be able to work afternoon shift
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Able to take charge and lead by example
• Ability to use measuring devises
