Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Tax ensures timely completion and delivery of all Indirect tax compliance obligations, providing leadership in issue resolution, systems implementation, and tax compliance processes. This role supports various areas of the company, ensuring alignment with overall tax compliance.
What You'll Do...
The Senior Manager, Tax leads tax and eco fees compliance and system support, ensuring adherence to tax and eco fees compliance and control for existing and new programs. This position manages system implementations and updates, ensuring accurate tax and fee capture and documentation. The role oversees daily tax and eco fee compliance, reporting, and systems control, developing direct reports and providing regular performance evaluations.
An in-depth understanding of end-to-end systems, processes, accounting, and controls for all tax and eco fees operations is required to manage research and analysis of tax and eco fees related issues. This position highlights and remediates issues, proposing resolution plans to senior leadership. The role includes oversight of procedural documentation for all systems and processes necessary for tax and eco fees collection, remittance, and recovery.
The Senior Manager, Tax also oversees system implementations and new business initiatives impacting the compliance process, working closely with required business functions. Responsibilities include review of contracts, managing external government audits, providing necessary analysis and documentation, and responding to queries. The role involves promoting tax and eco fees awareness and knowledge, proposing changes to policies and systems to improve internal controls and departmental efficiencies.
Additionally, the position reviews and manages tax and eco fees research based on current and proposed legislation, assessing and communicating the impact of tax changes. This role drives associate engagement, valuing and developing team members, and identifying and setting goals for direct reports. The Senior Manager, Tax collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure tax and eco fees implications are identified and reported appropriately, ensuring compliance with all tax and eco fees requirements

CICA Indepth Tax Course Strong interpersonal & presentation skills Result oriented and critical thinking – high sense of ownership Strong organization skills, able to meet conflicting deadlines, ability to multi-task
Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree Minimum Years of Experience Required 6 - 8 years
CPA CA Required
