As the Rehabilitation Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, person-centered therapy for residents. You’ll assist with therapy interventions, monitor and maintain equipment, and contribute to the development of individualized care plans. In this role, you will provide hands-on support while helping foster independence, safety, and dignity for those in your care.
About The Role
This is a part time position for 4 days in the week, Monday – Thursday, 0800 – 1500, based solely out of Sun Pointe Village (SPV).

About The Role

In this position, you will:
- Collaborate with therapists to prioritize tasks and ensure smooth operations.
- Manage daily therapy-related communications and consultations.
- Implement therapy interventions as directed by therapists.
- Assist residents with activities such as lifting, positioning, and mobility.
- Monitor and maintain therapy equipment and walking aides.
- Observe and report on resident progress and changes in therapeutic programs.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment while upholding Baptist Housing’s values.
- Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma or Program.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least one year of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
