Torch Cutter-Goodwood NS

John Ross & Sons Ltd. is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and we are committed to exceeding our customer's expectations. We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded Torch Cutter to join our ever expanding team in Goodwood! Previous experience (3+ years preferred) is a must. The worksite operates Monday through Saturday.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Run and clean torches
• Change liquids and adjust regulator
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
• Perform minor repairs to equipment
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to proper manager
• Maintain clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills
• Completion of college or technical training
• Safety Minded
• 3+ years†experience
