The QA Manager will define the QA strategy, ensure high-quality releases, standardize testing processes, and drive continuous improvement across multiple enterprise systems. You will lead a team of QA Analysts performing both manual and automated testing across eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications. The QA team collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and project managers. You will leverage industry best practices and appropriate technologies to ensure quality and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of QA Analysts, supporting career development
  • Recommend innovative approaches to automate testing and reduce manual effort
  • Establish metrics and reporting to track quality trends, defect leakage, and release readiness
  • Design, maintain, and execute test plans, cycles, and cases to ensure consistent, high-quality product delivery, including functional and regression testing
  • Participate in static and dynamic testing to enable early bug/defect identification
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Designers, and Developers during kickoffs, design reviews, and testing to ensure clear understanding of requirements
  • Reproduce, document, and track issues, identifying high-risk areas to improve test coverage
  • Perform ad-hoc testing for quick fixes and priority deployments
  • Support UAT with business stakeholders and collaborate on joint testing initiatives to ensure high-quality releases


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of QA experience, particularly on eCommerce platforms
  • Experience coaching and mentoring QA teams or individuals
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience writing and executing test plans, cycles, and cases for web applications
  • Skilled in regression testing
  • Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first websites, including cross-browser and multi-device testing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar (an asset)
  • Experience with QA tools like JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar (an asset)
  • Adaptable, quick learner, team player with a positive attitude
