M3 Development Management Ltd

Date: 7 hours ago
City: Vancouver, BC
Contract type: Full time

M3 Development Management is searching for a Project Manager to join our team in the Vancouver OR Victoria office. This isn’t a desk-bound role or a passive advisory position. It’s a hands-on opportunity to lead, influence, and deliver complex development projects with precision.

A Day in the Life:

At M3, no two days will look alike. As one of our Project Managers, you get to determine what each day will look like for you.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage all phases of a project’s lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring technical standards and client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Provide strategic direction in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Lead, supervise, and mentor Project Coordinators
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Chair key meetings and drive effective communication and scope management.
  • Engage in business development activities and foster relationships with potential new clients.
  • Seek to enhance processes across the company, champion innovation, and uphold technical excellence in all project phases.

What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary qualification in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of postgraduate experience in project management, construction, cost consulting, or development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, and Publisher.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing and developing teams.
  • Extensive experience in managing project timelines, resources, costs, and risks.

What We're Looking For in You:

  • You don't just talk strategy; you roll up your sleeves and deliver.
  • Your previous Project Management experience working in fast-paced environments and how you slowed things down to get to a solution, focused on collaboration, and looked for the less obvious.
  • Your ability to expand on the technical proficiencies and projects you outlined in your resume.

Why Join M3?

We believe in culture; and not just because that’s what we “should” say, but because we know it’s what truly sets us apart. We’ve got our eyes set on growth, but in the right way. We know that culture is defined as the worst behaviour we are willing to tolerate.

We are not okay with average. This isn’t just externally with our owners, developers, lenders, and investors – it’s internally with our team members too. We aren’t consultants or advisors – we’re partners who sit squarely in the business of execution ensuring we deliver real results.

In return for a great effort, you will be rewarded with:

  • A highly competitive salary that matches your role and experience. Salary expectations for this role are between $90k-$110k
  • Ability to participate in a bonus and profit sharing program.
  • Excellent paid time off (we do believe in living to work rather than working to live).
  • A collaborative, high-performing team
  • Investments in you; tell us where you want to grow to, and we’ll help you get there!
  • An environment based on inclusivity and respect, dedicated to the diversity of thought, and a commitment to equity.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Submit your cover letter and resume, showcasing your talents and why you’re ready to make a move in new and exciting ways! While we intend to get back to everyone to let you know that we’ve received your resume, we’ll only be contacting those who follow the application process and outline their experience as outlined.
