Bartender/Barista

We are looking for a positive, energetic and dedicated individuals to fill the role of barista/bartender to help provide a unique and memorable experience to all of our guests at our 489 College St location.

This position will be more focused on bartending with a supporting role to our barista team. While bartending will be the main focus barista experience will be consider an asset. Availability to work Thursday-Sunday will be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with the content of all menu items available/unavailable, rotating menu items
• Maintain familiarity with the content of the games library, retail
• Prepare coffee and tea program beverages in a sanitary and accurate manner
• Pour beer, wine and prepare mixed drinks and cocktails in a sanitary and accurate manner according to the orders received
• Maintain order and stock for canned beer and cider, wine and alcohol
• Provide service support to floor staff with peripheral products, such as pastries, soda and water service
• Be mindful of safety and handling of hot beverages
• Assist fellow team members when needed
• Complete regular opening and closing duties
• Follow all systems in place
• Assist customers with drink and food selection

Skills

• Knowledge of drink recipes
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Able to work well under pressure
