Team description

Located in the administrative center of Dorval, you will work in a team of 9 analysts and will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting. You will collaborate with several finance teams around the world and to make use of your solid knowledge in accounting and financial information.

During your internship, you will:

  • Support the international development of Bombardier Aviation by:
    • Assisting our subsidiaries in the production of financial statements (10%)
    • Analyzing the financial statements of our subsidiaries (10%)
  • Collaborate with various financial information teams to facilitate the reconciliation of inter-company transactions and bank accounts (20%)
  • Meet the requirements of the auditors and the tax department (5%)
  • Lead / participate in special projects aimed at improving the key processes of the team including those related to the production of financial statements (5%)
  • Support the control activities by participating in the pre-closing and review reconciliation exercises (10%)
  • Respond to ad hoc requests (10%)
  • Prepare month-end journal entries (10%)
  • Produce reports for end-of-month analysis, operational and financial measures, and internal and external reporting (20%)

During your internship, you will learn:

  • To use SAP, Cadency and OneStream applications
  • How to effectively collaborate in a large team and develop competencies such as planning, organization, and attention to detail

  • You are in the process of completing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
  • You are a team player, possess good stress management skills, and can work with strict deadlines
  • You possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and good organizational skills
  • You adapt easily to a changing environment
  • You have experience working with MS Office, notably with Excel. Experience with SAP, Cadency & OneStream will be considered an asset
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
