Job Description

Oracle seeks a software engineer to join a team of talented professionals who are revolutionizing delivery of Cloud Services to the world’s most critical organizations.

The SaaS Engineering team manages all enterprise software services on behalf of our 25,000 customers, processing over 60 billion daily transactions. Within the SaaS Engineering team, You will be responsible to develop and build multiple tools and solutions designed to improve the reliability, resiliency, performance, operability, monitoring and efficiency of the SaaS product portfolio. You will partner closely with peers and leaders in software development and customer support to create new toolsets and deploy them across applications on the Oracle Cloud.

We are looking for a developer in Montreal that can do full stack development. The job requires to be present at the office 3 days a week. As a member of the dev team, you will partner with others in our development team to implement solutions within a distributed computing environment. You will collaborate with others on the team to ensure systems under development are aligned with other systems. You will assist in supporting operations for the systems that our team owns.

You should have experience in building both backend systems and front-end JavaScript based UI. You should have experience building REST API and integrating with other services. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, enthusiastic, passionate to learn new things.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Programming Languages: Python, SQL/PLSQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Frameworks & Tools: Flask, Spring Boot, Maven, Gradle, TestNG, JUnit, Git

Software Design: Design Patterns

Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $88,100 - $192,600 per year.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
