As our next Operations Technician, you’ll be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining automation equipment, including robotic and CNC machines. Your role will be essential in ensuring process control, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set up and maintain CNC lathes, milling machines, grinders, and SPMs
• Write and modify CNC programs for various machining operations
• Set up and maintain automated cells including robots, conveyors, sensors, and cylinders
• Analyze “out of tolerance” conditions and adjust via offsets
• Read and interpret CMM reports
• Predict tool wear and schedule tool changes using SPC data
• Identify, select, and prepare tooling
• Track equipment performance and report inconsistencies
• Support training and cross-training of production technicians
• Implement process and tooling improvements for cost reduction
• Work in compliance with Johnson Electric’s Quality, Safety, and Environmental Systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Technical degree/diploma in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume CNC machining operations
• Certified in ISO/IATF 16949 automotive systems and quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with CNC setup and machining in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with SPC, CMM reporting, and tooling optimization
• Proven success in cost reduction initiatives
