Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and is looking for a Pricing Analyst for our office located in LaSalle QC. The person selected will be responsible to help build the Quotation Team, drive sales, profitability, and revenue growth for Fuel by having a deep industry and market knowledge, sourcing rates for all regions, and managing and analyzing our client’s data.

Fuel Transport is expanding rapidly and is looking for a Pricing Analyst for our office located in LaSalle QC. The person selected will be responsible to help build the Quotation Team, drive sales, profitability, and revenue growth for Fuel by having a deep industry and market knowledge, sourcing rates for all regions, and managing and analyzing our client’s data.

Job Summary:
- Take responsibility for all customer tenders based on extensive knowledge of truckload lanes, markets and rate management.
- Provide a strategic plan of action for rate research using multiple tools.
- Collaborate with all departments to identify trends, market needs and industry changes.
- Ensure that all customers have agreements in place and resolve issues as necessary.
- Develops and maintains a strong relationship with the Rates Department to ensure all rates/offers/allocations are tracked and archived.
- Lead the quarterly review of award performance.
- Communicate projected volume to appropriate parties internally to proactively source dedicated equipment and carriers.
- Support the sales team by providing useful information/data.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least four to nine (2-5) years’ experience or an equivalent combination with a proven track record of rate analysis within the third Party Logistic (3PL) industry.
- Proven experience in pricing analysis, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and customers.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems.
- Deep understanding of truckload lanes, markets, and Revenue Per Mile (RPM). with Microsoft Office Software
- Good knowledge of USA and Canada Geography.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
- Bilingual in English and French. The requirement of another language is required for this position as the candidate will be required to interact and communicate with clients, suppliers and colleagues throughout North America.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
