Role Summary
In this role, you’ll be the face of Labatt to our largest Convenience customers, building high-impact, long-term partnerships that drive real results.
You’ll lead strategic business planning, use data to uncover growth opportunities, and work cross-functionally to develop and execute tailored programs that win in-store. You’ll manage trade budgets, guide field execution, and continuously seek new ways to deepen relationships.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in the retail landscape and a background in CPG, particularly in areas such as Key Account Manager, Account Management or Category Management.

Job Responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership
- Strategic Account Management of our largest Convenience customers
- Build, maintain, and own key account external relationships
- Development of annual customer business plans utilizing data-driven strategies and tactics to create win-win partnerships
- Development, execution, and evaluation of customized key account programs
- Support Customer Marketing Teams in developing customized programs, strategies, and tactical marketing/sales initiatives
- Responsible for directing our field sales team on street level executions within your customer set
- Build internal and external communication plans
- Responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly performance reviews of customer set
- Accountable for managing all components of the customer's budget
- Develop new business within existing & new customers
- Analyze sales and market data to identify growth opportunities, optimize account performance, and inform business planning
- Mandatory University Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum 6 years of Sales Back-Office experience (Key Account Management, Account Management or Category Management)
- Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or Alcohol/Beverage Industry
- Excellent relationship building & negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making
- Strong presentation skills to champion Key Account pitches
- Ability to interact professionally with customer at a senior level (CEO, President & VP)
- Strong budget management experience (manage budget to provide partnership with external stakeholders)
- Strong project management and organization skills to manage internal and external priorities through cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to listen, understand a customer needs & develop a creative solution that drives mutual growth
- Expert in all Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience in Convenience channel and knowledge of Liquor regulations and distribution network preferred
