District Sales Manager - South Okanagan

**This position offers annual compensation of $120,000 to $140,000 in British Columbia, commensurate with experience**

What You Would Do

• Leading, developing, mentoring and managing a team of Sales Representatives
• Assisting Sales Representatives with contract negotiations and pricing strategies to grow territories
• Financial management of the territory, including factors such as cost, profitability and managing of the sales operating budget
• Implementing best practices that translate into improved customer service
• Providing employee development through ongoing training
• Offering flawless service to our customers
• Responsible for determining the territory potential for existing customers, competitor accounts and new business in the South Okanagan region
• Setting territory and individual goals for overall sales, product line sales and account profitability
• Participating in food shows, sales meetings and sales promotions
  
  

Does this sound like you?

• Possess 5+ years of senior experience in food-related sales and customer service.
• Proven leadership skills, with a strong focus on coaching and development
• Have demonstrated an attitude that contributes to employee engagement and a positive culture
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
• Strong analytical skills and presentation skills
