KBE Engineer

We are looking for a Exteriors CAD Engineer to work in Windsor Ontario
CAD Engineer - Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) - Exterior Trim
Define parameters and standards of critical systems integrated into CAD design templates for vehicle evaluation & implementation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Specific prior expertise in Fascias, Grilles, Cladding required
· Adaptation of studio surface data to meet engineering and parametric modeling requirements
· Competive benchmarking of assigned systems
· Maintain templates / requirements as standards change
· Associative parametric modeling
· CAD model and template set up
· Requirement section development, application, buy off, change process
· Highest Level of CAD Skillset,Parametric CAD Modeling Required
· Specific expertise in Exterior Trim CAD design required
Willingness to learn KBE processes for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Requirements:

• 1-3 Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or EE) or equivalent bachelors degree with experience.
• 1-3 Years of Exterior Trim Automotive Engineering Experience (specific examples required)
• Strong English Speaking skills
• Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required

Preferred Requirements:
· 5+ Years of Body and Body Exterior CAD Engineering experience
· 5+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Catia V5 or V6.
Must Have's:
· 1-3 Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX
· 1-3 Years of Exterior Trim Automotive Engineering Experience (specific examples required)
· 1-3 Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX
