Your role at Clorox:

The Associate Studio Lead – Brita is a senior-level, high-impact role responsible for driving the strategic and operational success of one of Clorox Canada’s most important brands in the portfolio. Acting with a general manager mindset, this individual will help shape the brand’s direction, deliver financial results, and influence cross-functional decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Marketing/ Brita Studio Lead, they will help define business priorities and lead the development and execution of key initiatives.

In this role, you will:

Success in this role requires a strong understanding of P&L drivers, consumer and customer insights, and manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment and is passionate about building brands that make a meaningful impact.

Deliver Financial Performance

  • Support delivery of long- and short-term financial results for the Brita business.
  • Manage key P&L levers including pricing, trade investment, mix management, and cost optimization.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain on forecasting, scenario planning, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor in-market performance and lead corrective actions to ensure financial targets are met.

Lead Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that drive growth across core and innovation platforms.
  • Manage brand positioning, set strategic priorities, and identify new opportunities.
  • Ensure flawless execution across the full marketing funnel—from awareness to conversion.
  • Measure media impact with support from Insights (awareness, consideration, market share, household penetration).
  • Provide thought leadership to scale the business and strengthen connectivity with U.S. Studio counterparts.

Drive Core Business Processes

  • Contribute to long-range strategic plans, annual operating plan inputs, and monthly forecasting.
  • Lead innovation discovery and commercialization across the pipeline with strong cross-functional alignment.
  • Oversee marketing budget allocation, tracking, and optimization to maximize ROI.

People Leadership

  • Manage and develop two direct reports, setting clear goals, providing coaching, and fostering growth.
  • Build a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Play a key role in developing future marketing talent aligned with broader brand and business strategies.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in Consumer Packaged Goods.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Brand Builder: Experience driving full-funnel marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and traditional channels. Strong grasp of media, performance marketing, and budget optimization.
  • Strategic Thinker: Solid business acumen with P&L knowledge. Skilled at turning consumer and customer insights into growth strategies and innovation.
  • Collaborative Leader: Ability to align and influence cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, Agencies) to deliver cohesive brand plans.
  • People Developer: Proven track record in managing, coaching, and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Execution-Oriented: Strong project management skills, comfortable handling multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity.
  • Great Communicator: Clear, persuasive, and confident in engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Innovative & Agile: Curious, forward-thinking, and ready to challenge the status quo to drive sustainable growth.

Education Level/Degree:

  • Business qualification (BA/ MBA/ BComm) or BS with focus on Communication or Marketing or equivalent working experience.
