About The Role
The HRIS & Data Analytics Expert at Belron Canada plays a pivotal role in optimizing human resources management through advanced HR systems and data-driven insights. This senior-level position requires a professional with extensive experience in HRIS management, particularly with Workday, and a strong background in data analytics. The role involves implementing, managing, and enhancing HRIS platforms, primarily focusing on system functionalities, integrations, and automation to streamline HR processes. The expert will lead projects related to HR digital transformation, including deploying AI features, developing dashboards, and ensuring data integrity and compliance. Working closely with cross-functional teams across Belron International, the HRIS & Data Analytics Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, supporting system performance, troubleshooting issues, and fostering innovation within HR technology. This role is strategic and operational, contributing significantly to organizational efficiency and decision-making capabilities by leveraging data analytics and technological solutions.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in HRIS management, with a proven track record in system implementation and optimization
- Extensive experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, data analytics, and reporting tools
- Proficiency in system integration, automation, and AI applications within HR technology
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Structured mindset with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and international teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degrees preferred
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR processes through innovative technology solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and execute strategies for deploying AI features within HR systems to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Manage the Workday system, including configuration, updates, and implementation of new modules or features
- Support and maintain integrations between Workday and other organizational systems such as payroll, finance, and IT platforms
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary resolutions to ensure optimal operation
- Develop, optimize, and deploy dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to support strategic HR decision-making
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data related to workforce, performance, and compensation trends to identify insights and opportunities
- Create training materials and conduct training sessions for HR and Employee Services teams on system functionalities and data best practices
- Ensure HR data quality, accuracy, and compliance through audits, validation mechanisms, and controls
- Participate in strategic HR transformation projects and contribute to the digital evolution of HR functions
- Collaborate with the international HRIS team to share best practices and implement global initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert for complex system-related inquiries and support continuous innovation in HR technology
