Fernie Alpine Resort is seeking a Rentals & Service Manager to lead our Rental & Repair operations at Fernie Alpine Resort. Position Overview
The Rentals & Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the Rental and Repair Shop, ensuring smooth workflows, excellent customer service, and efficient business practices. This role includes managing staff, maintaining safety standards, and supporting a positive team culture.

Position Overview
The Rentals & Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the Rental and Repair Shop, ensuring smooth workflows, excellent customer service, and efficient business practices. This role includes managing staff, maintaining safety standards, and supporting a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support a high-performing team
- Oversee day-to-day rental and repair operations
- Manage budgets, reporting, and scheduling
- Ensure excellent guest service and smooth equipment flow
- Maintain accurate Point-of-Sale and cash-handling procedures
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless resort operations
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and procedures
- 3+ years’ management experience in rentals, service, or similar operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ski, snowboard, or bike equipment is an asset
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Competitive wage: $55,000-60,000 annual salary
