Job Description

Cleaning Manager ? Environmental Services

Join our team at ARAMARK as a Cleaning Manager, where you?ll lead our Environmental Services (EVS) operations to deliver top-notch cleanliness and customer satisfaction. You?ll be responsible for managing day-to-day cleaning services, training staff, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met?all while staying within budget.

Job Responsibilities

What You?ll Do

  • Lead the Cleaning Program: Implement ARAMARK?s standardized cleaning procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service across the facility.
  • Drive Quality & Efficiency: Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and take action to maintain visible cleanliness and operational excellence.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee routines and workflows to meet service goals and client expectations.
  • Promote Safety: Conduct safety training and create a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Train & Develop Staff: Support supervisors and frontline staff with structured training programs for new hires and ongoing development.
  • Foster Team Communication: Encourage collaboration and problem-solving to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Build Client Relationships: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Control Supplies & Forecasting: Monitor ordering, forecast department needs, and manage resources responsibly. Changed budget to supplies and ordering, I'll manage budget mainly
  • Support Your Team: Lead staffing efforts, build team morale, and manage performance to create a motivated and reliable workforce.

Qualifications

What We?re Looking For

Experience

  • At least 1 year in management role.
  • 3+ years in cleaning or facilities management?experience in floor care an asset

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
