As a Tactical Retail Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores.

- Part-time permanent positon: Saturdays 1400-1800 + minimum one weeday 1400-1800 per week. Client provides the next month's schedule; we share full schedules 10 days in advance
- Uniform provided at no cost
- Check in with the store manager/associate for updates.
- Maintain high visibility; monitor for suspicious behavior and respond per policy.
- Address unwanted persons/de-escalate; if illegal activity is observed, follow store protocol, safely escort when appropriate, and attempt recovery only if safe and permitted.
- Monitor exit alarms diplomatically (possible causes: theft attempt, cashier error, device interference).
- Report acts of mischief (e.g., package tampering/property damage) to the manager; use judgment with customers opening packages and involve staff when needed.
- Keep conversations professional and work-related (primarily with management).
- Complete an accurate end-of-shift report (incidents, recoveries, alarms, notable observations).
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification as asset
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Comfortable approaching the public to report acts of mischief
