Your role at Baxter
The Americas Quality Assurance (QA) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) team supports Baxter operations and products marketed in the Americas. We ensure market access for new products, timely availability of on-market products, and compliance with local regulations and standards. The Standards and Practices team is looking to add a team member to assist with implementation of process improvements, update of tools, and addition of automation to improve the way we work.
What you will be doing:
- Manage process documentation related to material control, driving consolidation and standardization across sites.
- Assist with internal audit processes to monitor process compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Propose and implement process improvements to ensure quality and improve efficiency.
- Develop tools and implement automation to simplify processes and eliminate manual and/or redundant work through tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Apps, BI).
- Act as subject matter expert for technical quality topics such as environmental control in distribution.
- Partners with facilities, divisions, and regions to ensure successful implementation and compliance with procedures and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering
- 5-8 years experience in quality, engineering, or a related field to product development and distribution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with efficiency, automation, and business intelligences tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, and Tableau
- Familiarity with quality processes and implementation of quality management systems
- Experience working in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience with Good Distribution Practices
- Experience performing non-conformance investigations to determine root cause, and implementing related corrective actions.
