We are looking for a dedicated and professional janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will reside on-site and be on-call to provide exceptional service to our residents. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills, capable of handling a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the building and resident satisfaction

Wednesday to Sunday; From 10 a.m to 6 p.m
The janitor reports directly to the Leasing Agent / Property Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Resident Assistance: Welcome residents and guests, provide information, and respond to various requests.
- Security: Monitor building security systems, conduct regular rounds, and respond to emergencies.
- Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance staff and contractors to identify, report, and promptly resolve technical issues.
- Handyman Tasks: Perform minor repairs and maintenance duties in common areas or residential units.
- Cleaning: Ensure cleanliness of common areas, including corridors, lobbies, and elevators.
- Waste Management: Oversee garbage removal and ensure cleanliness in all shared spaces.
- Event Coordination: Inspect the VIP room before and after events to ensure order and cleanliness.
- In-Unit Issues: Address problems reported within individual apartments (e.g., noise, leaks, malfunctions).
- Daily Operations: Supervise the building’s day-to-day operational upkeep.
- Pool Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and safety of the pool.
- Move-In/Move-Out Support: Be present during tenant arrivals and departures to offer logistical support.
- Access Management: Unlock unit doors for authorized workers or service providers.
- App Usage: Use our mobile app to receive, process, and follow up on maintenance requests.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Experience in a similar role (janitor, building superintendent, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance, electrical, and plumbing work (an asset).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of customer service.
- Ability to manage stress and respond quickly in emergency situations.
- Independent, reliable, and proactive.
- Intermediate bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written
- The employee in this position will interact more than 50% of the time with tenants and suppliers who only understand and communicate in English.
